The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) continues to deliver all of its services to combat major crime and reduce corruption for the benefit of all Queenslanders.
In response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, as of Wednesday 25 March 2020, the CCC has closed its reception area and office to all unplanned visitors in the interests of public health and safety.
If you are required to attend the CCC office, it is advisable you make an appointment with the relevant CCC officer you are meeting with, or ring our reception team on 07 3360 6260 prior to your arrival so appropriate measures can be put in place.
Wherever possible, the CCC asks that you send documents to us via email or post.
Members of the public can still report corruption or police misconduct to the CCC. You can make a complaint by accessing our online complaints form at https://www.ccc.qld.gov.au/corruption/report-corruption or by phoning a complaints officer on 07 3360 6060.
Attendance at hearings: information for witnesses and legal representatives
The CCC has reviewed its hearing procedures to ensure that these processes are consistent with government health advice and directives.
When arriving at the CCC’s Green Square premises to go to our Level 2 Reception area, you will see notices directing that only 2 people at a time are to occupy a lift.
Appropriate measures have been taken to ensure our hearing and waiting rooms enable CCC officers, witnesses and their legal representatives to comply with social distancing requirements. These measures include signage indicating maximum room occupancy and floor markings.
A factsheet on the health and safety protocols in place for our hearings is available on request from the contact officer identified on your attendance notice, and will be sent to you before your hearing.
